Welcome to my family history journey!
Over the years, I’ve traced my ancestors through centuries of records, piecing together stories of resilience, reinvention, and remarkable lives. My research has taken me back to the 1400s, uncovering connections across generations.
Now, you can explore my family tree and see the names, dates, and stories that make up my ancestry. Whether you’re a distant relative, a fellow genealogy enthusiast, or just curious about the past, I invite you to take a look.

Family Charts & Reports
I’ll be adding a selection of family history charts to this page soon, making it easier to visualise different branches of the Milsted family tree. Whether you’re looking for a simple ancestor list, a detailed family breakdown, or a chart showing all of Albert Milsted’s descendants, you’ll find it here.
Descendancy Chart
Ever wondered just how many people can trace their roots back to a single ancestor? A Descendancy Chart shows exactly that! Starting with one person, it maps out all their descendants—children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and so on. Perfect for seeing how a family has spread out over the generations.
Ahnentafel (Ancestor Table)
A fancy name for a simple idea: an Ahnentafel is basically a list of your direct ancestors, numbered in a way that makes it easy to follow. It starts with you (or whoever the focus is) and works backward—parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and beyond. No cousins or side branches, just a straight line through history.
Register Report
If you like things in a neat, readable format, the Register Report is your friend. It lays out a family’s history in generations, listing each descendant with their key details—birth, marriage, and death (if known). Think of it as a written family tree, perfect for sharing with relatives.
Family Group Sheet
Need all the details on one family in one place? That’s what a Family Group Sheet is for. It lists parents, children, birthdates, marriages, and other key info, making it a handy reference for tracking who’s who in your family history. Great for organising research (or just keeping family facts straight!).
